Don't be Shy, be Bold and Cute!

So sleepy! Or she was yesterday XD

Ulla went to her first vet visit today! She had the sneezles, and turns out she had a fever too! So now she has to take antibiotic (it's yucky pink stuff) every 12 hours. She's a little grumpy after getting poked and proded for an hour, and then having pink liquid squirted down her throat x_x

It's so hot outside! Ulla naps on the windowsil or sprawls on the kitchen tile floor (in-between chasing bells and stuffed mice, of course).

We do NOT like this water falling from the sky. We keep climbing screen windows trying to figure it out. But then we gave up, and went to sleep on the couch.

Ulla came from the Humane Society. We don't know her background at all x_x She pawed at me from her cage and meowed like crazy, like she was saying "PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEE!!" She's a nut, and by the time she jumped out of my arms the third time, I knew she could hold her own with the two dogs at my house. 

Ulla cost $85. Wait, let me say that again. This teeny little 4-month-old cat with big feet and a body smaller than my laptop cost $85. However, she's was fixed, has all her shots and tests than she can at her age, and a MICROCHIP IN HER!! If she gets lost, they just scan over her, and they read our address and all the shots she's had. 

When we brough her home, she was afraid of ceiling fans and really loud noises. When she met the dogs, her tail poofed up bigger than the rest of her. But in about 10 minutes, she was completely comfortable. It's like this was her perfect home. She's gotten better around the dogs, but she still doesn't like them.
She mews really high-pitched (kitten mews! awww!!!). She likes to sleep up high, like on my bed. When she purrs, she sounds like a little motor ^_^! She likes bells and catnip mice, but not feather-sticks (she runs from them XD)
